PRODUCT DESCRIPTION APPLICATION AREA METHOD OF APPLICATION COVERAGE

/DOSAGE
SHALIMAR CRACK FILLER
(1 & 20 kg) 		Bituminous Crack filler with polymers & minerals (cold applied compound) Used to stop leakages & seepages from cracks in RCC or asbestos sheet, CGI roofing. Its out- standing performance keeps it plasticising even after long time of application. Clean the cracks thoroughly. Coat lightly with SHALIMAR BITUMEN PRIMER. After Drying of primer SHALIMAR CRACK FILLER should be filled into the cracks, leaving a rounded head that overlaps, on either side of the crack. If the bolts are jammed, Cover the exposed J-bolts and washers completely with SHALIMAR CRACK FILLER. Overlapping joints should first be cleaned. If they are rusted, they must be treated with SHALIMAR BITUMEN PRIMER then sealant should be pressed into the joints with a knife to seal them. It depends upon the thickness & depth of the crack where SHALIMAR CRACK FILLER is to be applied.
SHALIMAR WALL CARE PUTTY  
(1,5,10 & 25 Kg) 		SHALIMAR WALL CARE PUTTY is a new, Revolutionary, & versatile building material. It is a combination of selected polymers resins, minerals & fillers. SHALIMAR WALL CARE PUTTY is used underneath to oil bound paint & emulsions. It is flexible and provides a permanent seal, whatever the weather condition is. It can also be over painted to any color by any oil bound / water based distemper / plastic paints / emulsion. All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust or loose paint. Surface should be wet at the time of application. Now mix the powder content into water by 35 - 40% by mass to get in putty form & apply over the wall surface with putty blade. After drying of 1st layer, 2nd repeat layer is coated to create at least 1.5mm thickness. After application over the internal & external walls the surface gets smoother & the bond will grow stronger with time to give lasting protection against seepages & peeling problems. It depends upon the required thickness where SHALIMAR WALL CARE PUTTY is to be applied.
SHALIMAR WALL CARE PUTTY (PU)
  (1,5 & 10 Kg) CARE PUTTY (PU)
(1,5 & 10 Kg) 		SHALIMAR WALL CARE PUTTY (PU) is a new, versatile, & Revolutionary two component wall security system. SHALIMAR WALL CARE PUTTY (PU) is used underneath to oil bound paint & emulsions. It is flexible & provides a permanent seal, whatever the weather condition is. All surfaces must be clean, dry & free from dust or loose paint. Now mix SHALIMAR WALL CARE PUTTY (PU) the powder content into liquid PU & apply over the wall surface with putty blade. After drying of 1st layer, 2nd repeat layer is coated to create at least 1.5mm thickness. After application over the internal & external walls the surface gets smoother & the bond will grow stronger with time to give lasting protection against seepages & peeling problems. SHALIMAR GLASS PUTTY
 (10 & 50 kg) 		Cold applied sealant consisting of different types of Resins, Non edible oils, minerals, polymers etc. Used to fix glasses in M.S. section windows & frames. Its outstanding flexibility keeps it plasticising even after long time of application. Clean the section joints where glass is to be fixed. Now SHALIMAR GLASS PUTTY should be filled properly, leaving a rounded head that overlaps, on both sides of section. Now a coat of good quality enamel paint should be painted over the putty surface, so that chemical properties does not change by weather effect & stop cracks formations. It depends upon the depth of the section where SHALIMAR GLASS PUTTY is to be applied.
CAPITEX CRACK FILLER

CAPITEX POLYSULPHIDE GAP FILLER
 (4 kg) 		Two component Epoxy Resin expansion joint/ Crack filler. It is an ideal filler of Epoxy Resin base. Epoxy based gap filler for expansion joints and cracks. Coverage: Width x Depth x 1.6 = material consumption Mixing Ratio: Part A - 3.68Kg Part B - 0.32Kg A Polysulphide based sealant for vertical and horizontal expansion joints. After mixing, two components CAPITEX POLYSULPHIDE GAP FILLER through cross-linking to provide a strong but highly elastic sealant. It is used both in vertical and horizontal expansion joints in all types of buildings and civil engineering construction such as retaining walls, underpasses, tunnels, bridges, high and low rise buildings and whereever a permanent flexible seal is required. Before applying, the sides of the joint should be sprayed or brushed with SHALIMAR EPOXY PRIMER. After drying of primer mixed component is poured/ filled with spatula into the joint.
SHALIMAR POLYSULPHIDE SEALANT GRADE-216
 (4 kg)
Two part pouring grade polysulphide sealant Can be used for sealing expansion & construction joints in building construction  Application procedure of SHALIMAR POLYSULPHIDE SEALANT grade - 216 will be same as application of CAPITEX POLYSULPHIDE GAP FILLER. Consumption is same as CAPITEX POLYSULPHIDE GAP FILLER.
SHALIMAR POLYSULPHIDE SEALENT GRADE-601
 (4 kg)  
Two part pouring grade polysulphide sealant Provides excellent adhesion to common building substances. It is recommended for sealing structural expansion joints, in most civil engineering structural like building super structure subways, basements, floors, Runway joints & reservoirs. Application procedure of SHALIMAR POLYSULPHIDE SEALANT GRADE 601 will be same as application of CAPITEX POLYSULPHIDE GAP FILLER. It depends upon the thickness & depth of the joint but can be calculated as: Width x Depth x 1.6 = material consumption.

SHALIMAR JOINT SEALING COMPOUND GRADE A
 (20 kg & 200 kg)
Bitumen based Sealing compound. For RCC / PCC Pavement joints / Road Joints/ Building expansion Joints. It is an ideal hot pour joint sealing compound of bitumen base. It complies with the requirements of Grade A sealing compound of IS: 1834/1961. It has a working temperature of 175-185 °C (345 - 365 F), and a density of 1020 Kg. per cubic meter. Cleaning of the joints should be done. The sides of the joint should be sprayed or brushed with SHALIMAR BITUMEN PRIMER. The primer should be allowed 4 to 12 hours to dry. The sealing compound should be cut into small pieces before adding to the boiler for heating. It is helpful if wooden battens can be laid on both sides of the joints during the sealing process. The sealing compound should be poured slightly over the slab surface. The quantity of joint sealing compound required per 100 meter of running joint per 25 mm depth with various thick ness in Kgs. is indicated below:

CAPITEX JOINT SEALING COMPOUND GRADE A
 (26 kg & 260 kg) 		Bitumen based Sealing compound. For RCC / PCC Pavement joints / Road Joints/ Building expansion Joints. It is a hot pour joint sealing compound of bitumen base. It has a working temperature of 185-195 C (345 - 365 F). Cleaning of the joints should be done. The sides of the joint should be sprayed or brushed with SHALIMAR BITUMEN PRIMER. The primer should be allowed 4 to 12 hours to dry. The sealing compound should be cut into small pieces before adding to the boiler for heating. It is helpful if wooden battens can be laid on both sides of the joints during the sealing process. The sealing compound should be poured slightly over the slab surface. Consumption of Sealing Compound depends upon the thickness & depth of the joints & can be calculated as per actual consumption.
SHALIMAR JOINT SEALING COMPOUND GRADE B
(24 kg & 240 kg) 		A compound for filling of runway pavement joints. It is unaffected by fuel spillage and less likely to be disturbed by the heat from jet exhausts. Sealant for runway construction joints. SHALIMAR JOINT SEALING COMPOUND GRADE-B may be applied over Shalimar Expansion Jointing Board & also be used for joints in garages, filling stations, etc, where there is spillage of petrol, oil or grease. It is an ideal hot pour joint sealing compound of coal tar pitch base. It complies with the requirements of Grade B sealing compound of I.S. 1834/1961. It has a working temperature of 155-165 C (310-330 F), and a density of 1200 Kg. per cubic meter. Cleaning of the joints should be done. The sides of the joint should be sprayed or brushed with SHALIMAR JET SET PRIMER. The primer should be allowed 4 to 12 hours to dry. The sealing compound should be cut into small pieces before adding to the boiler for heating. It is helpful if wooden battens can be laid on both sides of the joints during the sealing process. The sealing compound should be poured slightly over the slab surface. The quantity of joint sealing compound required per 100 meter of running joint per 25 mm depth with various thick ness in Kgs. is indicated below:

S. SEAL
(General Purpose Epoxy hardener Sealant)
Normal: 50g, 80g, 100g, 250g, 1Kg
QS: 5g, 30g, 50g, 100g, 250g, 1Kg
White: 50g, 500g 		S. SEAL is a Two Pack Epoxy resin modified general- purpose sealant . It is an ideal for sealing, joining, repairing glass, asbestos, concrete, ceramics, pipe joints, flush tanks, washbasins, windows & wall panel's joints etc. All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust or loose paint. Surface should be dry at the time of application. Part A & B should be mixed in equal proportion & apply over the surface. Let the surface to dry for few hours for gaining full strength. It has excellent adhesion to Steel, concrete, wood, rubber, metal & plastic etc. Depends upon type of work.
SHALIDITE
(Two components)
9, 27, 45, 90 gms. 		It is an Epoxy Resin based high quality sealant cum adhesive. SHALIDITE is an ideal for sealing, joining, repairing and insulating ferrous & non ferrous metals. SHALIDITE is suitable for glass, asbestos, concrete, ceramics, pipe joints, flush tanks, washbasins, windows, wall panel's joints, various misleneous household & industrial maintenance works externally. Depends upon type of work.
SHALIMAR POLYURETHENE SEALANT
(4 kg)
One component jointing sealant. Used for movement joints in facades, roofs & floors, bridge, cantilevers, retaining wall & subways. SHALIMAR POLYURETHENE SEALANT is filled both in vertical & horizontal movement joints permanently. It is also used for caulking of window sashes & doors, wall/floor joints, shutter housings, and general purpose. It depends upon the thickness & depth of the joint but can be calculated as: Width x Depth x 1.6 = material consumption
SHALIMAR CABLE COMPOUND
(20 Kg.) 		For electrical & other cable joint applications. It is generally used in optical fiber cable joints & electric cable joints. Before application SHALIMAR CABLE COMPOUND is melted in a container and the temperature is to be raised to application temperature under slow stirring. The pouring temperature is to be decided as per the IS: Code of practice for application. The consumption of SHALIMAR CABLE COMPOUND is as per the joint requirement.
SHALISEAL
(1, 20 Kg.) 		SHALISEAL is heavy- duty acrylic based plastic copolymer modified white sealant with combinations of specialty chemicals. For filling cracks of concrete, plaster, tiles, brick joints, Curtain walls, cladding, Aluminum, windows, terraces, roofs. The cracks or joints shall be cleaned thoroughly. Before applying, a coat of SHALIMAR SYNTHETIC PRIMER (SBR) is to be painted. After drying of primer SHALISEAL is filled with knife or spatula into the joint. It depends upon the thickness & depth of the crack where SHALISEAL is to be applied.
