ANTI-CORROSIVE/RUST REMOVER & CONVERTER COATINGS
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION APPLICATION AREA METHOD OF APPLICATION
CAPITAR & CAPITAR SPECIAL
 (20 Litres) 		CAPITAR & CAPITAR SPECIAL is Coal Tar Pitch based anticorrosive paint. It is in fact the most economical protecting medium for all kinds of steel and woodwork, costing less than ordinary paint. CAPITAR & CAPITAR SPECIAL is conforming to IS: 290/1961, Type B. Long lasting heavy-duty protection against corrosion. The surface should be thoroughly cleaned from dirt & scales. Two coats are normally recommended and should be applied to the clean surface. Each subsequent coat should be applied when the preceding coat has become dry and hard. Material coverage will be 6- 8 Sqm. /liter/ coat .
SHALIMAR TANK MASTER
 (1 & 20 Litres) 		SHALIMAR TANK MASTER is an anti - corrosive, tasteless, odourless, non-toxic black bituminous coating, compounded to special formula for internal & external application of G.I or Concrete water Tanks. SHALIMAR TANK MASTER can be used on Steel, worn out Galvanized Iron, Wood, Brick & lime surface or Cement Concrete. It can be easily and quickly applied by brush or spray & it dries rapidly leaving a glossy black finish. Protective Anti corrosive coating for internal/ external surface of storage water tanks, pipes, fluid containers etc. against severe corrosive conditions. SHALIMAR TANK MASTER is easy to apply in the same manner as ordinary paint. The surface to be coated should be clean from dust, rust & loose particles and free from moisture. Stir the solution well before applying & use clean brushes. Allow adequate ventilation for application. The first coat should be thoroughly set before applying a second coat. When the final coat has dried, flush surfaces with clean cold water before putting into commission.
SHALITAR WRAPING TAPE
 (50mm x10mt.)
 (100mm x10mt.) 		It is made of a highly modified Coal Tar base adhesive & protected by a thin polyethylene film with silicon release film. It is the best solution for pipe coating & repair, It is easy to use having good elongation and flexibility. For M.S. Pipes, electric poles etc. against severe corrosive conditions . The tape is used for applications where a high resistance against soil irregularities is requested or as extra protection layer. Apply a coat of SHALIMAR JET SET PRIMER @ 250 Gms per Sqm by brush, if necessary, Simply cut off the required length of SHALITAR WRAPING TAPE, peel off silicon release film, press and smooth into position. Use sufficient width to overlap adjoining surfaces by approximately 12 mm. The bond will grow stronger with time to give lasting protection against severe corrosive conditions .
SHALIMAR COAL TAR EPOXY PAINT
(20 Litres) 		It is an anti corrosive thixotropic based on coal tar pitch. SHALIMAR COAL TAR EPOXY PAINT can keep water away from surfaces year after year, under extreme corrosive conditions. It is highly resistant to moisture, acids and alkalis. External protection of tanks & pipes, metal culverts. Steel pilings, etc. Protection of filter screens, sluice gates, etc. Interior and exterior of barges, floating dry docks, etc. Surface should be totally dry before application and free from moisture, oil, grease, loose mill scale or rust. SHALIMAR COAL TAR EPOXY PAINT should be applied in 2 coats of equal thickness.
ALUMINUM SHEILD
 (1& 20 Litres)
An anti corrosive & water proofing treatment with Aluminum finish. ALUMINUM SHIELD is used as a protective coating on iron, steel, timber & masonry. ALUMINUM SHIELD is also used as a finishing coat on bituminous waterproofing felts for a better, more pleasing look that reflects sunlight, heat etc. External protection of tanks & pipes, metal culverts. Steel pilings, etc. Protection of filter screens, sluice gates, etc. ALUMINUM SHIELD does not need an undercoat. You can apply it on old surfaces without burning off or scrapping them, provided the surface is not too flaky. Before applying ALUMINUM SHIELD on bituminous felt, brush off loose dust and make sure the surface is dry.
RUBBERIZED ALUMINUM SHIELD
 (20 Litres) 		It is a Rubberized anti-corrosive and waterproofing treatment with Aluminum finish coating having sufficient flexibility at low temperature and resistance from high temperature. The RUBBERIZED ALUMINUM SHIELD is used as protective purposes in thick coats provide long lasting protection, plastic qualities combined with an attractive appearance on iron, steel, timber and masonry. This coating system is specially prepared for where there are movements, vibration of machinery. Iron poles & Structures etc. It can be used as a finishing coat on bituminous water proofing felts. Before applying RUBBERIZED ALUMINUM Shield on bituminous felt, brush off loose dust, mica etc, and make sure the surface is dry. Covering capacity of RUBBARISED ALUMINIUM SHIEID on metal and old painted surfaces: 5 to 6 Sqm. per liter per coat. On bituminous surfaces: 3 to 5 Sqm./ liter/ coat. On Brick, masonry and concrete surfaces: 2 to 3 Sqm./ liter/ coat.
CAPIKOTE TYPE 30
 (20 Kg.) 		CAPIKOTE-30 is a dispersion of special bitumen & other materials in water, dark brown in Color and is available ready to use. After application and evaporation of water, a tough waterproof bituminous membrane is formed. The coating, when set, is impermeable to water and remains unaffected by industrial fumes, salty atmospheres, etc. It is generally recommended for anti corrosive treatment of metal work, structural steel components, etc Surface Preparation: Remove all deposits of dust, scale, dirt, oil or grease. The primer, if applied, should be allowed to dry completely before being coated. CAPIKOTE - 30, suitably thinned down with a maximum of 10% water can be applied as a primer. Stir material to work up a good consistency. Apply liberally with a wet brush. A dry film thickness of 3mm is to be built up in two coats. It will take 48 hrs. depending on the surface, weather conditions & ventilation arrangements.
SHALIMAR RUST CONVERTER- 338
(200Ml, 1 & 20 Litres) 		SHALIMAR RUST CONVERTER- 338 is an interior/ exterior concrete etching product that is specifically formulated to remove rust, efflorescence and mineral deposits from concrete, galvanized steel, iron structures, rails, Heavy earth moving equipments mild steel surfaces with some special features of anti- corrosive ness. After drying it prepares the treated area to fight against corrosion. Ideal for removing rust stains caused by sprinklers, air conditioners, spelled concrete, rusted TMT bars wrought iron furniture, nails, bikes, cars and tools. Use on interior or exterior spelled concrete. This is an economical & best product in its kind, which removes as well as protects the steel surface from further corrosion. Clean surface dirt and grease from the surface. Wear protective clothing, goggles, rubber boots and acid resistant rubber gloves. Use a soft-bristled brush and apply SHALIMAR RUST CONVERTER- 338 over the surface. After drying of 1st coat let the surface dry for 8 Hrs. Now 2nd repeat coat should be painted & let the surface dry for 8 Hrs. . After drying of the surface it will protect the surface from further deterioration
SHALIMAR RUST CONVERTER-431
(200Ml, 1 & 20 Litres) 		SHALIMAR RUST CONVERTER- 431 is an heavy duty interior/ exterior concrete etching product that is specifically formulated to remove rust, efflorescence and mineral deposits from concrete & mild steel surfaces with some special features of anti-corrosive ness. After drying it prepares the treated area to fight against corrosion. Ideal for removing rust stains in heavy duty manner caused by sprinklers, air conditioners, spelled concrete, rusted TMT bars wrought iron furniture, nails, bikes, cars and tools. Use on interior or exterior spelled concrete. This is an economical & best product in its kind, which removes as well as protects the steel surface from further corrosion. Clean surface dirt and grease from the surface. Wear protective clothing, goggles, rubber boots and acid resistant rubber gloves. Use a soft-bristled brush and apply SHALIMAR RUST CONVERTER- 431 over the surface. After drying of 1st coat 2nd repeat coat should be painted. After drying of the surface it will protect the surface from further deterioration.
SHALIMAR RUST REMOVER
 (200Ml, 1 & 20 Litres)
SHALIMAR RUST REMOVER is an interior/ exterior concrete etching product that is specifically formulated to remove rust, efflorescence from concrete & mild steel surfaces. Ideal for removing rust stains caused by sprinklers, air conditioners, spelled concrete, rusted TMT bars wrought iron furniture, nails, bikes, cars and tools. Use on interior or exterior spelled concrete. This product contains a strong acid that can cause eye or skin burns if not handled carefully. Avoid excessive splashing when using the product. Clean surface dirt and grease from the surface. Wear protective clothing, goggles, rubber boots and acid resistant rubber gloves. Keep area wet with water before the application of SHALIMAR RUST REMOVER. Use a stiff-bristled, non-metal broom or brush and dip into solution and scrub surface. Allow product to stand for 5 to 10 minutes & rinse with fresh water while scrubbing.
SHALIMAR PAINT REMOVER
 (200Ml, 1 & 20 Litres) 		SHALIMAR PAINT REMOVER is a unique formulation that uses a specially selected paste, made from microscopic crystals designed to erase the painted surface or scratches on any color and type of paint. It will also remove rust on paints and chromes. SHALIMAR PAINT REMOVER works on steel Aluminum, Galvanized Iron Sheet, wood surface etc. Squeeze a small amount of the SHALIMAR PAINT REMOVER onto a clean, dry, soft cloth. Apply over the surface with brush and wait for 4 to 7 minutes. Wash the surface with water or wipe with a cloth after drying.
SHALIALUSOL
 (20 Liters) 		SHALIALUSOL is an anti-heat sunlight reflective coating with Aluminum finish surface. SHALIALUSOL is cold applied paint consisting of different types of Resins, oils, minerals & polymers etc. SHALIALUSOL is frequently used as a finishing coat on bituminous waterproofing membranes & felts for a better, more pleasing look that reflects sunlight, heat etc. SHALIALUSOL is used as a protective coating on SHALIPLAS treatment, iron, steel, timber & masonry surface. SHALIALUSOL does not need an undercoat. You can apply it on old surfaces without burning off or scrapping them, provided the surface is not too flaky. Before applying brush off loose dust and make sure the surface is dry. SHALIALUSOL can be easily and quickly applied by brush or spray and it dries rapidly leaving a glossy aluminum finish. The resultant film is tough and elastic if applied strictly in accordance with instructions.  Metal & old painted surfaces: 17 to 19 Sqm./liter. Bituminous surfaces: 14 to 16 Sqm. /Liter. Brick, Masonry and Concrete: 7 to 9 Sqm. /Liter.
SHALIRUST FREE
 (32g, 100g) 		It is an heavy duty interior/ exterior concrete etching product that is specifically formulated to remove rust, efflorescence, grease dust tar & hard water deposits. After drying it prepares the surface to fight against corrosion. To remove rust & moisture from Rusted iron, spark plugs, bolts, springs, castor taps, car mudguards, battery terminals etc. It smooths the mechanism of jammed bearings. Squeeze a small amount of the SHALIRUST FREE over the surface and wait for few seconds. Wash the surface with water or wipe with a cloth after drying.
RED OXIDE PRIMER
(20 Litres) 		CAPITEX RED OXIDE PRIMER is an anti - corrosive, tasteless, odorless, toxic coating, compounded to special formula for protecting the iron structures against severe corrosive conditions. CAPITEX RED OXIDE PRIMER provides the safest, most efficient and economical protection against corrosion. Protecting the external surface of storage water tanks, pipes, fluid containers etc. against severe corrosive conditions. CAPITEX RED OXIDE PRIMER is easy to apply in the same manner as ordinary paint. The surface to be coated should be clean and free from moisture. Stir the solution well before applying and use clean brushes. Allow adequate ventilation for application. The first coat should be thoroughly set before applying a second coat.
CORROSION GUARD
(20 Litres) 		CORROSION GUARD is an anti - corrosive, black bituminous coating. CORROSION GUARD can be easily and quickly applied by brush or spray and it dries rapidly leaving a glossy black finish. It is recommended for use where periodic inspection & recoating present no undue difficulties. For channels, steel structures, electric poles etc. against severe corrosive conditions. CORROSION GUARD is easy to apply in the same manner as ordinary paint. The surface to be coated should be clean and free from moisture. Stir the solution well before applying and use clean brushes. Allow adequate ventilation for application. The first coat should be thoroughly set before applying a second coat.
SHALIMAR CAR GUARD
 (20 Litres) 		SHALIMAR CAR GUARD is a liquid rubber bitumen coating designed for under bodies of two wheelers cars and commercial vehicles. It protects vehicles against corrosion caused by dampness or water seepage and guards against flints, stones, mud or anything else likely to be thrown up from the road. Apply SHALIMAR CAR GUARD on underbodies, chassis, inside bonnets, mudguard, and petrol tanks in fact, any area exposed to corrosion & vibration. Clean the surface & get rid of all oil & grease. Scale off all rusty patches with a wire brush. Apply a coat of SHALIMAR CAR GUARD with a stiff, dry brush. Apply the 2nd coat only after the first is totally dry. The recommended thickness of 2 coats is 3mm (1/8”) approximately. SHALIMAR CAR GUARD takes about 24-36 hrs. to dry depending on ventilation etc.
