SHALIMAR LEAK PROOF JOINT STRIP
(50mm x10mt.)

Self-adhesive LEAKPROOF JOINT STRIP is comprised of heavy-duty Aluminum foil (0.064 mm thick) coated with a generous layer of pressure sensitized SBS modified bitumen sealant (1.45 mm thick). The strength of the bond increases with time. Self-adhesive LEAKPROOF JOINT STRIP is a new, revolutionary, and versatile building material. It is flexible and self adhesive and provides a permanent seal, whatever the weather condition is. Above all, it will enable anybody to tackle jobs, which they would never have thought of doing before. It can also be over painted to any color.

Flashings on flat or pitched roofs of asbestos, concrete or Aluminum. Edge flashing to felt roofing, Parapet flashing, Glass & fiber sheet joints, roof lights & extractor vents, Sealing joints of pipes, Drip tray into gutters, Glazing bars, Capping to asbestos roofing, Windows joints, Sealing leaks in trucks, vans, buses etc.

All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dust or loose paint. Apply a coat of SHALIMAR BITUMEN PRIMER @ 250 Gms per Sqm by brush, if necessary, Simply cut off the required length of LEAKPROOF JOINT STRIP, peel off silicon release film, press and smooth into position. Use sufficient width to overlap adjoining surfaces by approximately 12 mm. Warming will improve workability in very cold weather. Finish off by smoothing down with cloth pad, roller or piece of shaped wood, pressing self-adhesive strip. The bond will grow stronger with time to give lasting protection against wind, rain & snow.

SHALIPLAS
(Polyester)

It is an APP modified polymeric waterproofing membrane manufactured to highest International standards. It consists of center core of 150 - 160 Gms/ Sqm thick high Molecular high- density non-woven polyester mat. Polyethylene is a complete barrier against incursion of water & moisture. The center core is protected on both sides with APP Asphaltic mix, which has high penetration, high heat resistance and high softening point. It also achieves good bonding with substrate and a strong adhesion between overlaps. In turn, this polymeric Asphaltic mix is protected on the bottom with thermo fusible HMHDPE film on the top with another layer of HMHDPE The resultant membrane has very good elongation to absorb all structural movements. SHALIPLAS (Polyester) is available in grades of 3 mm - 3.6kg & 4mm 4.6 Kg. per Sqm.

Highly effective for water proofing of Roof, Sunken, basements, retaining walls, tunnels, lift, floors, Swimming pools etc. Care is taken that SHALIPLAS (Polyester) membrane is not punctured by masons/ workers while applying cement screed or tiles.

The surface is first cleaned to eliminate all sharp projections. Suitable primer such as SHALIMAR BITUMEN PRIMER is then coated on the surface. SHALIPLAS (Polyester) is unrolled over the coated surface (with overlaps of 10cm) and bonded completely to the substrate. The overlaps & complete bottom are then thermo fused by flame. Special care is taken at singularities such as drains, expansion joints etc. For accessible roofs screed should be done by fixing of Chicken Wire Mesh of 26 SWG, which is to be fixed using buttons of SHALIPLAS (Polyester). 20mm thick cement sand mixture in 1:5 ratios is applied. If terrazzo or mosaic tiles are required to be laid, they can be fixed in cement mortar directly over SHALIPLAS (Polyester) membrane.

SHALIPLAS
(Fiber)

It is an APP modified polymeric waterproofing membrane manufactured to highest International standards. It consists of center core of 40-150 Gms/ Sqm thick high Molecular high- density Fiber Glass mat. Polyethylene is a complete barrier against incursion of water and moisture. The center core is protected on both sides with APP Asphaltic mix, which has high penetration, high heat resistance & high softening point. In turn, this polymeric Asphaltic mix is protected on the bottom with thermo fusible HMHDPE film on the top with another layer of HMHDPE film. SHALIPLAS (Fiber) is available in grades of 2 mm - 2.0kg, 3mm 3 Kg. & 4mm 4 Kg per Sqm.

Highly effective for water proofing of Roof, Sunken, basements, retaining walls, tunnels, lift, floors, Swimming pools etc. Care is taken that SHALIPLAS (Fiber) membrane is not punctured by masons/workers while applying cement screed or tiles.

Application procedure of SHALIPLAS (Fiber) will be same as application of SHALIPLAS (Polyester).

SHALIPLAS
(Aluminum)

It is an polymeric waterproofing membrane with center core consisting of 90 micron HMHDPE film. The center core is protected on both sides with Asphaltic mix. Top layer consists of Aluminum foil, which act as an extra waterproofer to reinforce the non-permeable quality of the entire membrane. Available in 2mm thickness having weight 3kg/ Sqm.

Highly effective for water proofing of Roof, Sunken, basements, retaining walls, tunnels, lift, floors, Swimming pools etc.

Providing & Laying water proofing treatment with SHALIPLAS (Aluminum) polymeric waterproofing membrane including cleaning & coating the surface with SHALIMAR BITUMEN PRIMER/ SHALIMAR BOND C/S / SHALIMAR BLOWN BITUMEN of 85/25 or 90/15 & overlaping joints should be sealed with torch application with 10cms overlaps.

SHALIPLAS

SHALIPLAS is an polymeric waterproofing membrane with center core consisting of 90 micron HMHDPE film. The center core is protected on both sides with Asphaltic mix. In turn, this polymeric Asphaltic mix is protected on the top & bottom with HMHDPE film. Available in: 2mm thick having weight 3kg/ m2 & 3mmthick having weight 4kg/ Sqm.

Waterproofing of roof, base- ment, toilet, Roof guard, Underground sumps, AC/GI sheet roof, Swimming Pools, Expansion joints, Bus roof tops, Pre-fab roof, folded plate.

Providing & Laying water proofing treatment with SHALIPLAS polymeric waterproofing membrane including cleaning & coating the surface with SHALIMAR BITUMEN PRIMER/ SHALIMAR BOND C/S / SHALIMAR BLOWN BITUMEN of 85/25 or 90/15 & overlaping joints should be sealed with torch application with 10cms overlaps.

SHALIPOLY FELT
(1 x 20 Mt. Roll)

SHALIPOLY FELT is a bituminous waterproofing felt manufactured to high technical standards. It consists of a center core of 20 - 90 micron thick high-density polyethylene film. The center core is protected on both sides with a high quality Asphaltic mix protected on both sides with HMHDPE film this reinforces the non-permeable quality of the entire felt. Available in grades of 1 mm,1.5mm & 2mm thickness.

For water proofing of Roof, Sunken, basements etc. Care is taken that SHALIPOLY FELT is not punctured by masons/ workers while applying cement screed or tiles.

After cleaning cold sticker /blown bitumen 85/25 or 90/15 is coated on the surface. SHALIPOLY FELT is unrolled over the coated surface (with overlaps of 10cm) and bonded completely to the substrate. SHALIPOLY FELT is topped with a second layer of bitumen @1.2kg/sqm. and finally finished with bituminous aluminum paint. For additional security and life, it may be applied in two or even three layer.

SHALIFELT
(1 x 20 Mt. Roll)

The SHALIFELT consists of a continuous sheet of Hessian base treated with bitumen as specified by I.S. Specifications is uniformly applied. The resultant coated felt shall be given a superficial application of mineral powder to prevent the layer of the coated felt sticking together in the roll.

Effective for water proofing of Roof, Sunken, basements, retaining walls, tunnels, lift, floors, Swimming pools etc.

After cleaning, 1st coat of Hot Blown Bitumen grade 85/25 to be painted. Immediate application of one layer of SHALIFELT (Hessian based felt ISI MARKED). Second coat of Hot Blown Bitumen grade 85/25 to be painted immediately on item no (3) as a final course

SHALIMAR CAPIBOND
C/S.
(20 Liters)

SHALIMAR CAPIBOND C/S is a Cold applied adhesive manufactured from selected grades of bitumen, suitably, blended with other raw materials. It is of semi liquid consistency, black brown in appearance and is ready to use. It is recommended for sticking on Iron, asbestos, concrete, wooden & masonry surfaces.

For fixing roofing felts & Membranes / film/ sheets over the roof surface of RCC, AC & CGI Sheets etc.

The surface should be cleaned of all foreign materials & should be completely dry. Apply SHALIMAR CAPIBOND C/S over the surface at 1.5 Sqm. - 2 Sqm. / Kg. With a spatula or brush. Allow approximately 10 minutes time before laying felt and sticking the same by application of mild pressure. All joints should be properly sealed.

SHALIFELT
(Fiber)
(1 x 20 Mt)

The SHALIFELT (Fiber) consists of a continuous sheet of Glass fiber tissue treated with bitumen. The content i.e. the mixture of bitumen as specified by I.S. Specifications is uniformly applied. The resultant coated felt shall be given a superficial application of mineral powder to prevent the layer of the coated felt sticking together in the roll.

Effective for waterproofing of Roof, Sunken, basements, retaining walls, tunnels, lift, floors, Swimming pools etc.

Cleaning of the dust & loose particles from roof surface with Fine brush. After cleaning, 1st coat of Hot Blown Bitumen grade 85/25 to be painted. Immediate application of one layer of SHALIFELT (Fiber) (Fiber based felt). Second coat of Hot Blown Bitumen grade 85/25 to be painted immediately on item no (3) as a final course. SHALIFELT (Fiber) may be applied in 2 or even 3 layers.

SHALILAFARGE -UKWC
(20, 200 Kg)

SHALILAFARGE - UKWC Is rubberized Modified asphalt emulsion. It is a cold applied, single component, which builds thick membrane i.e 1 mm, 1.5 mm & 2 mm on the processed surface.

It is an excellent item for water proofing of concrete surfaces, walls, foundations, sunken portions etc. & compatible for protection of metal, wood & concrete against severe corrosive conditions.

Clean surface dirt and grease from the surface. Use a soft- bristled brush or heavy duty spray machine & apply one coat of SHALILAFARGE - UKWC over the surface @ 350 Gms / Sqm. After drying of 1st coat, apply 2nd coat of SHALILAFARGE - UKWC over the surface @350 Gms / Sqm should be painted.
