SHALIMAR PRIMER
(Emulsion)
(20 & 200 Litres)

SHALIMAR PRIMER (Emulsion) is an emulsion with finely divided Bitumen dispersed in slurry having paste like consistency brown in Color & ready for application on damp surfaces as primer.

The main purpose is to give underneath coat prior to application of membranes & felts to get best adhesion to the concrete / plaster surface.

The surface is first cleaned completely. Stir the container of SHALIMAR PRIMER (Emulsion) so that its pasty consistency mixed with the aggregates before application. Apply this paint on the roof surface liberally. After drying of the surface, any further application can be done.

SHALIMAR BITUMEN PRIMER
(20 & 200 Litres)

It is a bituminous coating, compounded to special formula for protecting the roof surface. SHALIMAR BITUMEN PRIMER can be easily & quickly applied by brush or spray and it dries rapidly leaving a glossy black finish. The resultant film is tough and elastic if applied strictly in accordance.

It can be used over Steel surface, worn out Galvanized Iron, Wood, Brick & lime surface or Cement Concrete as base coat prior to application of SHALIPLAS (All types), SHALI POLY FELT, SHALIFELT etc.

SHALIMAR BITUMEN PRIMER is easy to apply in the same manner as ordinary paint. The surface to be coated should be clean and free from moisture. Stir the solution well before applying and use clean brushes. Allow adequate ventilation for application. Apply this paint on the roof surface liberally @ 300 Gms. or 400 Gms /Sqm.

SHALIMAR SYNTHETIC PRIMER
(Tar Base)
(20 Liters)

SHALIMAR SYNTHETIC PRIMER (Tar Base) is Coal Tar Pitch based anticorrosive paint as per AWWAC 203.

For exposed M.S.Pipes before application of wrapping & coating with coal tar enamel.

The surface should be cleaned by sand blasting or emery paper from all loose particles. Now a coat of SHALIMAR SYNTHETIC PRIMER is to be painted by paint brush or spary machine. The resultant film is tough and elastic if applied strictly in accordance. Coverage : 10 Sqm./ liter / coat.

SHALIMAR EPOXY RESIN PRIMER- 250
(1 & 5 Kg.)

Two-component epoxy resin based primer for concrete surfaces.

It is used as base coat, before application of SHALIMAR POLY SULPHIDE SEALANT & other epoxy flooring applications in building const.

10 Sqm. / Kg/ coat on scarified/ shot blasted floors & 8-9 Sqm. / Kg/ coat on acid etched surface.

SHALIMAR EPOXY RESIN PRIMER- 280
(2.5 & 5 Kg.)

Two-component epoxy resin based primer for steel surfaces.

It is used as base coat, before application of different epoxy applications in steel fabrications, machines, equipments & concrete etc.

SHALIMAR ZINC CHROMATE EPOXY- 910
(1 & 20 Liters)

Single component, zinc chromate epoxy primer. It is as a base coat, before other epoxy applications in Steel structure, Railway tracks & building const.

It is recommended as an anti corrosive paint for exposed steel reinforcement for use with concrete repair solutions.

SHALIMAR BLACK SHIELD
(20 & 220 Liters)

It is a colloidal clay type bituminous emulsion, with low price being made from local ingredients. The top coat provides maximum resistance to abrasion from ballast, sand, etc. over rails & gives extended protec- tion to the interior coats of SHALIMAR BLACKSHIELD.

For anti-corrosive treatment of rail webs, and its qualities have been proved equally effective in protecting the inside panels of all steel wagons and steel work of bridges.

Apply one coat of zinc-chromate /red oxide primer, CNSL base after clening. After drying of the surface apply first coat @ 5 kg. / Sqm. After drying, apply 2nd coat & allow 6 hours drying. This topcoat provides maximum resistance to abrasion from ballast, sand, etc.

SHALIMAR SYNTHETIC PRIMER (SBR)
(20 Liters)

SHALIMAR SYNTHETIC PRIMER (SBR) It is a Single component primer, which is used as base coat for different uses.

It is recommended as an base priming coat before application of SHALISIL, SHALISEAL or any acrylic sealants.
